Cel-shaded game icon set generator

Describe your subject and get game icon sets in a cel-shaded look: bold black outlines, flat vibrant colors and clean cartoon shapes. Each generation gives you a cohesive 4×4 set of app or game icons that can also be exported as SVGs, laid out as a 4×4 grid of 16 icons. It's a good fit for mobile games, cartoon brawlers and bright casual games.

1 credit per sheet. New accounts get 3 free credits.

What you get

  • 16 icons in a consistent style from one prompt
  • PNG sheet and individual PNGs
  • Vector ZIP export with one SVG per icon
  • PNG sheet, individual frames, GIF and a ZIP with spritesheet.json for game engines

Prompt tips

  • Name the icon subjects and one unifying frame or background shape; simple shapes vectorize best.
  • Describe clothing colors explicitly; flat color blocks make each frame easier to keep consistent.

Use it in your engine

Every export is a uniform grid with frame rectangles and FPS in spritesheet.json.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a cel-shaded game icon set?

Open the generator with Icons mode and the Cel-shaded style selected, describe your subject (for example "skill icons for a fantasy RPG: fireball, heal, shield, dash, poison, lightning") and generate. The sheet comes back as a 4×4 grid of 16 icons, already split into frames.

How much does a game icon set cost?

A Standard generation costs 1 credit, and new accounts get 3 free credits. Pro Motion, the video-based animation option for Creative mode, costs 3 credits.

What files do I get?

Every sheet exports as a PNG sprite sheet on a uniform grid, as individual frame PNGs, as an animated GIF, and as a ZIP that adds spritesheet.json (frame rectangles, named animations and FPS) and metadata.json (cell size, rows and columns). Step-by-step import guides cover Godot, Unity and GameMaker.

Can I use cel-shaded sprites from AI Spritesheet Maker in a commercial game?

Yes. Under the Terms of Service you get a license to use what you generate in your projects, including commercial games. You're responsible for making sure your prompts and references don't infringe anyone else's rights.
